Short Description: She has small ears that are cocked and point outward slightly. Her fur is dense, reducing the risk of frostbite. The shorthaired all-weather coat consists of straight, stiff hair while the under-layer is soft and dense. Her coat is of various shades of agouti, she has a white muzzle, white cheeks and typical wolf markings and the eyes are brown.  She is generally bigger than a Karelian bear dog and has longer legs. Her jaws are immensely powerful. The eyes small and show intense concentration. The tail curls over the back in a typical Spitz arch. Robustly built, well-boned and of moderate size, she is slightly longer than she is tall. Her head is shaped as a blunt wedge. The body is sturdy and the back is well developed.  

Personality: Luna has a good sense of humor. It is sensitive, independent, intelligent, skillful, tough on itself and energetic. She is a robust, persistent, and powerful dog, it is willing to take on virtually any game animal. She is loyal to Freya and will do anything she asks, a true all-around canine, she can go from a hunting trip and back to the family hearth with great aplomb. She takes things in stride and does not get ruffled easily, making her a steady partner in the field or at home. She has an aggressive streak toward other dogs.

Background: When Lunas mother was pregnant she was bought by a Swedish family and brought to their farm in the mountains, they needed working dogs and this way they got more than one. Luna quickly fell for the youngest of the children and followed her anywhere. The girl and Luna grew up together and began to dream about the big adventure. The girl started to save up. One night when they were both out in the forest the farm burned and all their family along with it. Both distraught they took what little money the humans had and went to Stockholm. There they bought a ticket to America and some clothes for cold weather and they was off to their new life.

Freya bought a mining let in Alaska's mountains and trying to get her bearings and staying afloat.
